Returns

The Seller’s returns policy does not affect your Statutory Rights.

Please contact the Seller before returning an item for refund or exchange

Returned items must be unsoiled and in the same condition as when dispatched, with labels still attached and in the original packaging.  We are not able to refund items that appear to have been worn, washed, are not in original condition, or have had their labels removed. Every aspect of the item must be free from signs of wear and odour.

Once an item has been worn or used it cannot be returned, unless the item is found, by the manufacturer or the Seller, to be faulty.

Customers will be entitled to a full refund, less the delivery charge, if the goods are returned within 21 days of the customer receiving the goods.

Returns are normally processed within 10 working days from receipt of the item. Upon inspection of the returned item, Shamalay will issue a full refund, less the original delivery charge. In the unlikely event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, Shamalay reserves the right not to refund the item and arrange to send the item back to you at your expense.

Please note that special order goods (items not normally kept in stock) are non-returnable, unless faulty.

Goods damaged in transit or faulty goods due to faulty manufacture should be returned for our inspection. Replacement items cannot be dispatched until the Seller has received the returned goods. The Seller will credit the Purchaser with the cost of returning the goods to us and will not charge carriage costs for delivery of the replacement goods.

On occasions, the faulty goods may have to be returned to the manufacturer, so please allow time for their assessment and report.

Exchanges

An exchange is defined as a product that is ordered and on delivery, the Purchaser decides that they would like a different size, colour or style of the same product, or would prefer a different product. The Purchaser can then return the product to the Seller and we will exchange the product, subject to availability.

Should you wish to make an exchange, please contact us in the first instance and advise that you wish to exchange an item.

If a product is to be exchanged for a different product, the cost of the original item/s will be refunded and the cost of the new item charged to the customer.

Goods returned for exchange must be unsoiled, unused and in the same condition as when dispatched and in the original packaging, complete with any labels which must be attached. Any item that is in any way soiled or used cannot be exchanged.

The Purchaser will be responsible for postage costs incurred for returning the goods. If the item is being returned via Royal Mail, it is recommended that you obtain a certificate of posting, or use their ‘Signed For’ service, with adequate insurance, to enable you to make a claim for any loss or damage. If returning the item via a courier service, ensure that adequate insurance cover is obtained as well as a receipt for posting. We will be unable to compensate for returns that are lost or damaged in transit.

Refunds

The Purchaser is entitled to a full refund, less the delivery charge, if the goods are returned within 21 days of the Purchaser receiving the goods.

Please contact us in the first instance, to advise that you wish to return an item or items for a refund.

The Seller reserves the right to reduce the amount refunded for goods returned which show evidence of use beyond necessary handling.
