The NuuMed Wool Girth Sleeve is a very useful item for every rider and no stable should be without one. Effective in helping to prevent girth sores and rubbing in the girth area, especially on sensitive skinned or newly clipped horses.
Very robust and easy to put on, the NuuMed Wool Girth Sleeve is a simple one piece tube. Made using NuuMed’s medium density British wool. Available in two lengths. The opening is approximately 10.5 cm when laid flat.
All NuuMed wool is knitted onto a cotton yarn giving you all the wool you need with no skin attached. Wool has the ability to absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture before feeling damp allowing you to keep your horse dry and comfortable. The natural fibres of the wool are hypoallergenic and less likely to cause skin reactions or allergies. 100% renewable and 100% biodegradable.
